Map showing the Yunfu Sulphur Ore Railway

The Yunfu pyrites mine is about 180km southwest of Guangzhou and runs from a mine at Dajianping to the river at Liudou. A number of bogie mounted class JMY380II engines made in Changchun Diesel Locomotive Factory inJiangsu Province were seen. No. 86 -01 was noted, the first two digits referring to the year of manufacture. Several other types of diesel were also present. No steam locomotives were found.
